The objectives of VACPA are to maintain and develop accountancy profession, improve quality accounting, auditing and financial advisory services of Vietnam through training technical update courses,  professional ethics and service quality control, ìnformation exchange for its members

With the best effort in learning experience from other local and  international associations, high enthusiastic and qualified management, VACPA has been developing the Association to become a  reputable professional association in Vietnam and in the region.

We wish to contribute to the prosperity of Vietnam

and audting firms, enterprises and organisations

through our high qualified members and acitivities.

Principles and Scope of Activities

The Association is organized and operates in the voluntary, self-regulatory and self-sufficient principle, on a nation-wide scale, has its Head Office based in Hanoi and representative office in Ho Chi Minh City The Association is a member organization of Vietnam Association of Accountants and Auditors (VAA); and is subject to State management in respect of the accounting and auditing profession exerted by the Ministry of Finance.

The Association has its own status of a juridical person, seal, logo and accounts in a bank and State Treasury

Responsibilities of the Association

To assemble, unite and encourage members to constantly upgrade their professional expertise and skills, uphold the profession’s code of ethics, disseminate knowledge, and assist them in  technical activites. Protect the legal rights and benefits of its members

To provide competent regulatory agencies its opinions and comments on formulating, amending and supplementing legal documents on financial, tax, accounting and auditing policies and systems,

To formulate and implement commitments of the members on auditor’s criteria, code of ethics, and service quality so as to create an equal and healthy business environment between the audit firms

To promote and implement international cooperation in accordance with the law to contribute to further integration to the world and regional community.

To arrange for training, updating the knowledge and propagandising to the members the policies and regulations on finance, accounting and auditing; and for exchanging profession-related information and experience among the members.
To carry out uniform management over the list of practising auditors and audit firms. Review regulated practising requirement to announce list of those who meet practising requirements annually

To carry out the inspection and control of the quality of financial, accounting and auditing advisory services provided by the members, the audit firms, and to carry out other tasks as authorized by Ministry of Finance.

To hold pre-CPAexamination course for candidates, participate in Vietnam CPA Examination Council.

Organizational Principle

The Association is organized in the principle of centralism from the central level directly to the members.
